Frequently Asked Questions
-
When should I book the camp?
We recommend booking as early as possible to ensure availability, especially during peak seasons which are usually Term 1 and Term 4.
Early booking also gives you more flexibility in choosing dates and customising your camp experience to best fit your school’s needs.
Typically, we suggest booking at least 6–12 months in advance. We can accommodate late bookings when availability allows.

Do students need to bring their own bedding or linen?
For most of our school camp groups, we provide a linen package to ensure comfort during your stay. Our standard linen package includes: sheets, a doona, a pillow, and a bath towel. However, students will need to bring their own beach towel.
Here’s a breakdown of what’s provided for each accommodation type:
-
Cabins – The linen package is always included for all students.
-
Bunkhouses – You can choose to include the linen package or opt out. If you have students staying in both cabins and bunkhouses, the linen package will be provided for everyone.
-
Camping – No linen or bedding is included for campers. Students will need to bring their own sleeping bags, pillows, and towels.

-
Which accommodation type will be best for my group?
To help you choose the best fit, we’ll work with you to recommend the ideal options based on your group’s size, age range, budget, and specific requirements.
For some groups, our bunkhouses are the perfect choice, while others prefer our smaller individual cabins.
For larger groups, a combination of both accommodations works best.
-
Can you cater to special dietary needs or restrictions?
Absolutely! Our catering team is experienced in accommodating a wide range of dietary requirements, including food allergies, intolerances, and religious dietary restrictions. Whether it’s a gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, halal, kosher, or any other specialised diet, we can customise our meals to ensure they meet your needs.
-
Can you handle multiple dietary restrictions at once?
Yes, we can! We’ve successfully catered to groups with multiple and diverse dietary needs. For example, one of our recent school camp groups required meals for 26 individuals with 26 different dietary restrictions, including two severe anaphylactic allergies.
We have the expertise to manage even the most complex dietary requirements while ensuring everyone's safety and satisfaction.
-
How do you ensure the safety of those with severe allergies?
We take food allergies very seriously. Our staff is trained to handle severe allergies with the utmost care and precision. We follow strict protocols to prevent cross-contamination, and we can provide detailed ingredient lists to ensure that all allergens are avoided.
-
How do I communicate dietary restrictions to you?
Five week before your camp starts, we will request any dietary requirements. We will work with you to ensure we accommodate each individual. Just let us know the specifics, and we’ll handle the rest.
-
Can parents or guardians drop off and pick up their children?
We highly encourage all students to travel with the pre-arranged transport, ensuring that everyone arrives and departs together. However, we understand that occasionally a student may need to arrive later or leave earlier due to prior commitments. This can be arranged, please get in touch with the details and we will help coordinate.
In cases where a student needs to leave the camp early, this will be coordinated directly between the school staff and the student's parent or guardian.
-
Can you help with organising transport?
Yes! We can help organise transport to and from camp, and for each day if you have off-site activities included in your camp.
We have long-term relationships with a number of bus charter companies to provide you with pricing options.
-
What happens if we need to decrease the number of students attending the camp?
If you need to reduce the number of students attending, please let us know as soon as possible. We understand that changes happen, and we will do our best to accommodate adjustments.
Depending on the timing, there may be a reduction in your overall cost. However, please note that cancellations or reductions within a certain timeframe will incur a fee.
-
Can we increase the number of students attending the camp?
Yes, we can accommodate additional students, subject to availability. If you wish to add more students, please notify us as soon as possible so we can make the necessary arrangements for accommodation, meals, activities and transport.
For large increases in numbers, we will do our best to make the necessary changes, subject to availability.
-
Can I make changes to the booking after it’s been confirmed?
We understand that sometimes plans change. You can make adjustments to your booking (such as student numbers) up to five weeks before the camp. We will do our best to accommodate these changes, subject to availability.
We ask that any major changes (such as activity selection changes, date changes or number of nights) be made at least eight weeks in advance to allow us to accommodate your requests, all subject to availability.
Please refer to our booking conditions for how and when changes will be accepted.
-
What happens if we need to cancel or reschedule?
If your school needs to cancel or reschedule, please notify us as soon as possible. Our booking conditions outline the fees and timelines for refunds or rescheduling.
If you need to reschedule, we’ll do our best to find alternative dates that work for your school, within the next 12 months.
